volunteer with us
As an affiliate of Mutual Aid NYC, we are completely volunteer-led with a non-hierarchical structure. We need people who can help with planning moves, sourcing furniture, heavy lifting on move days, and more. Fill out the volunteer form to get started!
donate money
We rely on donations to make each move happen—truck rentals, lunch for volunteers, and hardware. Thanks to our fiscal sponsor, HCB, you can now donate on our site!
donate household items
We source new and gently-used furniture and household items that match each of our movee’s unique needs. We can provide receipts for tax purposes to donors. If you are interested in donating furniture, please contact us to see if your items will work for an upcoming move.
